Article 1 - Scope of the general conditions of sale
These general terms and conditions fully govern all one-time rentals made on the website www.bastidesaintambroise.com. They form an integral part of any contract concluded between the owner and their clients. Each client acknowledges having read these general terms and conditions prior to any booking of a stay, for themselves and any person participating in the stay. In accordance with current law, these general terms and conditions are made available to any client for information purposes prior to the conclusion of any holiday sales contract. They can also be obtained upon simple written request addressed to the owner.
Article 2 - Booking conditions
2.1 Prices and regulations
The price of stays is indicated in euros, it includes current charges (water, gas, electricity: within the limit of 10 kW/day, beyond that billing at actual cost at €0.50/kW), the provision of sheets, towels and kitchen linen. The tourist tax is to be paid upon arrival. Any rental is nominal and cannot be transferred. The rental only becomes effective after receipt of a 25% deposit of the stay, paid by credit card or PayPal payment on our website.
2.2 Modification of reservation
No reduction will be granted in case of late arrival or early departure.
2.3 Cancellation conditions
More than 30 days before the arrival date: the deposit will be refunded.
Less than 30 days before the arrival date, no refund of the deposit paid except written justification with photocopies of force majeure cases: hospitalization certificate, death certificate.
Less than 7 days before the arrival date, no refund of the deposit paid + payment of an additional 25% except written justification with photocopies of force majeure cases: hospitalization certificate, death certificate.
2.4 Balance
The balance is to be paid by credit card or cash to the owner upon arrival at the premises. Payment of the balance by check is not accepted.
2.5 Deposit
A security deposit of €500 (cash, check, credit card refund by transfer within 72h) covering the interior of the accommodation, furniture, fittings and exteriors will be required. It will be returned to you upon departure, minus any costs for restoring the premises and the value of missing or damaged equipment.
2.6 Insurance
You must be insured in civil liability by your insurer for any accident or damage that may occur to you or your loved ones in the accommodation or outdoor facilities available to you. Customers will be required to present their insurance to the owner in the event of an incident or accident.
Failure to comply with this clause will result in the cancellation of the rental and the loss of the deposit paid.
2.7 Animals
Pets are not accepted. In case of non-compliance with this clause, the owner has the right to refuse access to the animal(s) in his property. The tenant having been informed about the contract, he will not be able to in any case to contest this clause and will take at his expenses the lodging of his animal near a specialized organization.
Article 3 - Conduct of the stay
3.1 Arrivals and departures
The owner or his representative receives tenants for check-in.
As a rule, the arrival will be from 16 hours. Late arrivals will only be possible after special prior written agreement with the owner.
Departures must take place before 10 am unless otherwise agreed in writing with the owner. We insist on respecting the agreed time.
As this rental was only granted on a seasonal basis, the tenant undertakes to leave the premises at the date and time stipulated in the contract. Any rental is registered, it can not be assigned and the tenant does not have the right to sublet.
Article 4. Supplies
Your rental is equipped with kitchen equipment, dishes, furniture and bedding. The quantity of this equipment is in relation to the number of people provided for in the contract, sheets as well as household linen (towels, dishcloths, etc.) are provided. For stays longer than 7 days, the tenant may request a change of sheets and household linen included in the rental price, no cleaning service is provided during the stay.
Article 5. Obligations of the tenant
The tenant must behave as a good family man and ensure proper maintenance of the premises. The accommodation must be left in the same state of cleanliness as it was upon arrival (washing and putting away dishes done, cleaning, garbage removed...). We reserve the right to charge and deduct from the security deposit the cleaning hours that would result from a clearly abusive situation on this point.
The tenant must, before his departure, return all the pieces of furniture to the place where they were on his arrival.
Except with the prior written consent of the owner, the number of beds provided for in the contract can not be exceeded, and the provision of extra beds is not allowed. Similarly, it is forbidden to set up tents in the garden. In the event of a breach of these rules, the landlord may terminate the lease and apply a proportional compensation (in this case it will be deducted from the security deposit).
Article 6. Nuisances
The owner can not be held responsible for irregularities and / or lack of enjoyment that may occur in the services of electricity, water, internet access and television, etc. and declines any responsibility for lack of enjoyment not coming from his fact.
Article 7. Photos
Photos and videos of the property can not be used or sold without the written consent of the owner.
Article 8. Pool
The swimming pool has a safety system that complies with the current barrier-type legislation with gate.
The tenant must, however, take all necessary precautions for the use of the pool, especially if he is staying with young children, whom he must supervise. The renter agrees to fully release the owner's liability in the event of an accident occurring to himself, his family or guests. In case of disagreement with this clause, the owner asks you not to rent this house.
Article 9. Garbage
Respect selective sorting on site: green container for household waste, yellow container for newspapers, magazines, plastic bottles and a box for glass.
Article 10. Noise pollution
For the respect of other guests and neighbors, all gatherings, outdoor games and noisy swimming are prohibited after 10 PM.
